What's the WRAT-5?
The Wide Range Achievement Test, Fifth Edition (WRAT-5) is a nationally standardized, individually administered achievement test used to measure essential academic skills. It’s designed to assess how well a student has mastered foundational learning concepts—making it a reliable and efficient way to track progress across grade levels.
This test evaluates three core academic areas:
- Reading – Assesses word recognition and decoding skills, showing how well your child can read and understand written words.
- Spelling – Measures the ability to write letters and words correctly from dictation, reflecting basic language and literacy development.
- Math Computation – Tests your child’s ability to solve basic math problems using operations like addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
The WRAT-5 is a shorter, straightforward test that doesn’t require advanced prep or hours of focus—making it a great fit for kids with shorter attention spans or test anxiety.

Remote WRAT-5 Testing via Zoom

A convenient option from home! Perfect for students who are comfortable on screen and work well in quiet, familiar spaces.
Remote WRAT-5 + Coaching (Zoom)
Cost: $225
Duration: 2 hours
Includes full WRAT-5 testing plus an extended homeschool planning session. We'll help you set educational goals, review FL homeschool requirements, explore curriculum options, talk transcripts, high school paths, and graduation. Great for new homeschoolers or families looking to level-up their planning!
In-Person WRAT-5 Testing

You’re welcome to sit nearby during the session, but just observe quietly—no assistance, prompting, or guidance is allowed during the test.

A credit card is required to reserve your spot. If using EMA funds, we’ll send instructions after booking—your card won’t be charged unless funds aren’t reserved.
