The Pizza Entrepreneur

The Pizza Entrepreneur challenges students to use their creativity, entrepreneurial spirit, and business and computer applications skills to start and run their own pizza business and create one of today's most sought-after pizza franchise brands. In this real-world simulation, students will enter a contest to become the next Pizza Entrepreneur. While students are working on their own pizza business idea, they are guided by student mentor, Rosa Garcia, previous contest winner and owner of the successful pizza franchise Melisio's. Students are challenged to turn their unique pizza concept into a successful restaurant with the goal of eventually franchising their business.
 
Written for both Google and Microsoft applications, The Pizza Entrepreneur features projects in word processing, spreadsheets, desktop publishing, and presentations guiding students to produce a range of professional documents they'll need to make their business thrive. From creating a takeout menu and projecting revenue to designing a takeout pizza box and franchise brand kit, students will be totally engaged as they learn firsthand how computer applications can help run a successful business.
