Ruby Reads: The Trumpet of the Swan Read-Aloud Poster

Louis is a trumpeter swan with no voice! How will he communicate and win a mate? If you loved Charlotte's Web, we bet you'll also enjoy The Trumpet of the Swan, also by E. B. White.

With our Read-Aloud Poster for The Trumpet of the Swan you will:

• draw portraits of important characters
• record swan facts
• trace character movements on a map
• explore new vocabulary

Of course, we've also included Read-Aloud Poster favorites: discussion questions, reader evaluations, and a chapter tracker!

We’re excited to introduce a new activity on this poster: location flags! You'll use story details to complete these 3-D flags and add them to the story map.

We think this book is best for ages 6 and up, and is particularly great as a follow-up to Charlotte's Web! (Oh, yes, we have a Read-Aloud Poster for that.)
